Valentin Ceausescu has secret daughter, paper reports

According to the ‘National’ newspaper, Valentin Ceausescu – the eldest son of former dictator Nicolae Ceausescu – kept secret the existence of his daughter, now aged 14, to protect her from the painful memories of the Ceausescu regime. According to the source, the girl was born after the Revolution, in 1996, and she was named after her great-grandmother, Alexandra, the mother of Nicolae Ceausescu. Valentin Ceausescu lives in a well-protected residential complex located in the north of Bucharest. These days, journalists saw him taking his daughter from school. The girl is an eight-grader in a school from downtown Bucharest. PSD Deputy Madalin Voicu, a close friend of the Ceausescu family, claims that Valentin never tried to hide his daughter.
