Antique fair at Peasant Museum

More than 40 collectors from all over the country will exhibit, at the end of this week, old artefacts, which are indispensable to a rural household, within the Peasant Antiques’ Fair which opens at the Romanian Peasant’s Museum. The visitors will be able to see wooden and glass icons, crosses, jewellery, ceramics and other useful household items. While the objects on display are antiques, the food products will be fresh and a good buy, including: honey, sweet bread, plum brandy, kurtos kalacs. Entrance tickets cost RON 4 or RON 2, for pupils, students and pensioners.
