The price of turf rolls dropped by approximately 300 per cent in 6 years, from EUR 5-6 per square meter to EUR 2 per square meter, Ovidiu Petrache, general director SC Rulouri de Gazon SRL, stated on the occasion of the company’s 5-year anniversary. “One of the motives is that production has grown and producers have directed the price. The turf rolls’ market in itself has grown in Romania. Another factor that determined the development of activity consisted of the procurement of high performing machinery,” the director explained.
