Weather gets significantly colder

As of Thursday, the weather will get significantly colder in the regions inside the Carpathian Arch, and the cold wave will rapidly propagate to the rest of the Romanian territory. This is the result of a mass of freezing air originating from Greenland, which crossed central and north-western Europe and will stay in Romania at the end of the week. Nighttime lows will reach 0 degrees centigrade in southern regions, including Bucharest, and will get below freezing point in the rest of the country. Mountain areas and even lower regions will see some drizzle and snow, as the atmospheric pressure will suffer significant changes: first it will fall, and then it will rise up again.
