The Vice-President of the Locomotive Mechanics’ Trade Union, Voicu Sala, said yesterday the Minister of Transport, Anca Boagiu, had given CFR directors ten days to complete the structural re-organisation programmes, Realitatea.net informs. The unions continue to oppose to the privatisation of CFR Marfa. According to ministry representatives, the measures proposed in the restructuring strategy are expected to achieve a reduction of expenditures at the three companies by RON 788 M in 2011.
