Romanian women’s handball team Oltchim Ramnicu Valcea registered its second Group C defeat on Saturday in a Champions League game. Denmark’s Larvik won its home-side game against the Romanian team, score 34-31. Oltchim excellently came back into the game and went in with a one-goal lead at half time (18-17) after trailing five goals behind Larvik. In the second half however Oltchim’s errors in the offence gave Larvik the possibility of taking an eight-goal lead. Oltchim came back towards the end but lost by a three-goal difference. Oltchim will next play against Toulon on November 7. Larvik tops the group standings with 6 points, followed by Oltchim, Toulon and Randers HK with 2 points.
