Polar air mass invades Romania

Romania is expected to be flooded by a wave of polar air in the next two days when temperatures are set to plunge. Bad weather is settling in this week already. A mass of Nordic air that has swept through Europe has been covering Romania starting with yesterday. The 20 degrees Celsius recorded at the beginning of the week were going to drop to 0 – 8 degrees on Thursday. Evenings will even become frosty, with air temperatures drooping below zero degrees Celsius. Snowfalls and sleet are expected in the mountains. Fortunately, meteorologists say, the bad weather will only be here until Friday.
