Handball: Romania wins “Carpati” Trophy

Romanian national team of women’s handball wins the “Carpati” Trophy, after beating on Sunday Ukraine (35-27)

The Romanian team defeated Poland on Saturday on Day 2 of the Carpathian Trophy, score 32-24. The day before Romania defeated Macedonia, score 37-24 (17-15). On the other hand, world and European runner-up Croatia categorically defeated the Romanian men’s national handball team on Thursday evening in Karlovac, score 34-22 (16-11). It was Romania’s first game in the EC 2012 qualifiers.
