Liliana Solomon will take over the London-based Director of Operations Europe Region office
Inaki Berroeta will be the new Vodafone Romania CEO starting on December 1, the group announced yesterday through a press communiqué. At the same time, also starting next month, Liliana Solomon will take over the London-based Director of Operations Europe Region office, from where she will report to Michel Combe, CEO Europe Region Vodafone.
“After spending 5 extraordinary years alongside the Vodafone Romania team I have accepted a new challenge within the Vodafone Group. I am convinced that what I have built here along with my colleagues represents a solid base for the company’s future development. I had the opportunity to lead a team full of talented and passionate people. I would like to thank my colleagues, our partners and clients, for the support and confidence they offered all these years,” Liliana Solomon stated.
Spanish-born Inaki Berroeta has been Vodafone Malta CEO since July 2007. With over 15 years of experience in telecommunications, Berroeta held several leadership positions within Vodafone Group. Inaki Berroeta has a BA in Telecommunications and an MBA from the Henley Management College, UK. Liliana Solomon joined Vodafone in 2005 and was Vodafone Romania CEO for the last 5 years. During that time Vodafone Romania doubled its turnover and hiked its number of clients by 50 per cent, attaining profit margins of 45 per cent.
