Oil hits six-month high

The price of oil reached, yesterday, the highest level in the past six months, of over USD 85 per barrel, following the news of a fall in US crude oil stocks and before the announcement of the American Federal Reserve on the monetary policy, Mediafax reports. Oil price reached a top level of USD 85.04 per barrel, and, at 11:55 GMT, it was rising by USD 1.02, at USD 84.92 per barrel. The Brent oil price, referenced at the London Stock Exchange, rose by USD 1.1, at USD 86.51 per barrel.
