RCA more expensive as of next year

Liability car insurance (RCA) rates will increase in 2011, according to, reports, which quotes announcements by insurers saying the basic rates will go up 10 per cent next year. It’s worth mentioning the basic prices published on insurance companies websites may be subject to upward or downward revisions, depending on several factors, including driver age, with drivers under 30 years of age paying rates nearly 50 per cent higher than their older counterparts, on account of the latter being involved in fewer traffic incidents, which translates in fewer car damage compensations paid by insurers.
