MFP sells 3-year treasury certificates worth RON 120 M

The Public Finance Ministry yesterday attracted RON 120.05 M through an issue of benchmark bonds that will mature on July 25, 2013, at an average interest of 7.1 pc a year, BNR announces, quoted by HotNews. The maximum accepted interest was 7 pc a year. The ministry thus reopened a previous issue of March 22, 2010. The Ministry initially announced it would sell state bonds worth RON 300 M and banks yesterday submitted purchase requests up to a total RON 591.24 M.
