Finance Ministry borrows RON 1 bln from banks

The Ministry of Public Finances (MFP) organized yesterday a tender for discount bonds worth RON 1 bln with a one-year maturity, Agerpres informs. It was the third state bonds tender in November. In November the MFP plans to borrow RON 4.6 bln (over EUR 1 bln) from the banks through six tenders of treasury certificates and state bonds. In the first 10 months of 2010 the MFP borrowed approximately RON 30 bln from the internal market while in 2009 it borrowed approximately RON 65 bln.
