Romanian hacker breaks into British Royal Navy website

A Romanian hacker, who calls himself TinKode, “grounded” the Royal Navy website, which has been closed for three days now, BBC announced. The hacker decoded the passwords of administrators and users after a “SQL injection” attack, which is used quite frequently by hackers. The website was still closed yesterday afternoon, and representatives of the security firms argued the incident is most embarrassing for the Royal Navy, which officially declared defence against information attacks one of their priorities. The hacker states he would not make any use of the information, but that he merely wanted to prove the system is vulnerable. Representatives of the Navy admitted that the website came under attack, but stated no data were lost.
