CNADNR and Strabag sign contract worth EUR 220 M

The Romanian National Company of Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) and the Romanian-Austrian joint-venture Strabag AG/Strabag SRL/Straco Group recently signed a contract worth EUR 220.62 M (VAT included) for the construction of the Deva-Orastie ring road, at motorway standard. According to ‘Romania Libera’ daily, the road will be 32.8 km long. Out of the total price of the contract, the European Union will contribute EUR 133.62 M through the ISPA funds, while the remainder will be provided by the state budget. The road is due for completion two years after the beginning of construction works.
