Enel and Enel Green Power, financial results on the rise after nine months

Enel Green Power SpA, part of the Italian group Enel, reported at the end of Q3 of 2010 a net profit of EUR 352 M, rising by 16.9 pc, and total revenue of EUR 1,581 M, 16 pc higher, compared to the similar interval of the preceding year, according to a release.

As regards the Italian utilities group’s EBITDA margin (before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation), by September 30, 2010 this amounted to over EUR 13,265 M, i.e. 5.3 pc above figures reported for the same interval of 2009, and a net profit of EUR 3,449 M.

The CEO of Enel, Fulvio Conti, estimates that the consolidated EBITDA margin for 2010 will amount to approximately EUR 17 bln.
