The Senate yesterday ratified a Loan Agreement between Romania and the Japan International Cooperation Agency, which will partly secure the financing of a new metro line to the Bucharest International Airport, Mediafax reports. The loan will amount to approximately EUR 315 M. The metro line that will connect the ‘Henri Coanda’ Airport to the Bucharest subway network will cost about RON 5.3 bln. The loan will be made available in installments, for an interval up to 11 years, at an interest agreed by the two sides at 1.7 pc a year.
