Ex presidential runner released from custody again

The former runner in the 2009 presidential race Constantin Ninel Potarca was released, for the second time, on Wednesday night, by the Gorj Court magistrates in the second case in which he stands charged with tax evasion, Agerpres reports. Potarca was detained for 24 hours on Tuesday night, charged with tax evasion, causing RON 3.8 M damages, and deferred to court on Wednesday under a proposal for preventive arrest. One hour before his arrest, on Tuesday night, Potarca was released by the Gorj Court magistrates in another case, also related to tax dodge charges.
