NASA discovers youngest ever black hole

Scientists using an X-ray satellite have found evidence of the youngest black hole known to exist in the Earth’s cosmic neighbourhood, according to ‘The Telegraph.’ Astronomers believe that the black hole formed 30 years ago when a star about 20 times larger than the sun exploded and its core collapsed in on itself. The blast took place in 1979 in the relatively nearby M100 galaxy some 50 million miles from Earth.
