Monthly growth rate of Romanian constructions sector, strongest in the EU

According to the figures presented yesterday by Eurostat, Romania reported, in September, the steepest production growth in the building sector across the European Union (EU), of 4 pc, compared to the preceding month, according to “Financiarul”. In the interval July to September, the construction activity in Romania fell by 14.6 per cent compared to the preceding three months. At EU level, the quarterly production ebbed by 1.8 per cent, and the indicator dropped in five out of 16 European member states.
