Health Minister Cseke Attila last week ordered a probe in the case of two premature twins who were not given proper care at the Campulung Muscel Maternity Hospital, Agerpres reports. After being informed of the case by the twins’ parents, the Health Ministry sent a team to the hospital to make sure the premature babies would be safely transferred to a maternity hospital in the capital. Cseke expects to receive the results of the probe today. The two premature babies had been kept out of an incubator although they were born six months into the pregnancy. The Muscel doctors declared them aborted at birth, although they were alive. They are currently kept in the ICU of Polizu Maternity Hospital in Bucharest.
