The government plans to certify the job of construction engineer, so those who want to do this activity will have to obtain extra certifications, depending on seniority. A draft law with this regard was already sent to Parliament, Emil Curteanu, state secretary with the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism (MDRT) announced yesterday, during a real estate seminar, Mediafax reports. According to the source, the initiative of certifying construction engineers belongs to their own professional organisations. On the other hand, Curteanu said the draft law that regulates how buildings are constructed and managed will get private companies involved in this process.
