Tonight, the National Theatre’s Grand Hall will host an “all-encompassing” anniversary performance, in the manner and vision peculiar to the great and ever enthusiastic actor-director Dan Puric. The presentation is dedicated to the memory of the beloved actor Dem Radulescu. The production “Don Quixote” was created at the initiative of the Cervantes Institute, by the “I. L. Caragiale” National Theatre in Bucharest, in partnership with the “Passepartout D.P.” company and the “Art Production” Foundation, bringing together European myth and pantomime, the universal language of theatre. A Don Quixote who walked out of the book and is riding past us, holding out the only promise of redemption for the soul, in an agonic civilization. Tonight’s event will also see the launch of the “Don Quixote” DVD, including also a documentary about the 2006 European tour and the Making Of.
