Romanian military injured in Afghanistan

A Romanian soldier was injured, on Tuesday, in an explosion, in Afgha­nistan, the Defence Ministry (MoD) informed, adding that the victim was transported at the Kan­dahar Military Hospital and his condition is stable. “Corporal An­gel-Paul Ilovan, from the ‘Car­pa­thian Hawks’ 812 Manoeuvre Batallion, who was on a patrol mission in the Zabul Province, Afgha­nistan, was injured by the blast of an improvised explosive device. Following the explosion, the corporal sustained injuries on his face, thorax and hands,” is stated in the MoD release.
