Fitch: Bank assets’ quality, cause for concern for Romania

The quality of bank assets is a cause for concern in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Romania included, according to a Fitch Ratings report, Mediafax reports. The proportion between loans and GDP and between credits and deposits, as well as foreign currency loans, remain at high levels on some of the markets in the region.
