Romanians spend highest amount of spare time at work among European countries

The crisis which Romania has been going through in the past two years and the fear of losing their jobs makes Romanians spend increasingly more time at work. Thus, according to a Eurofound report, a quarter of the Romanians have often been working overtime in the past year, the highest percentage reported among all European countries. According to the results of a poll made by Eurofound, over 40 per cent of Romanians state they work more than 40 hours a week, a percentage which is topped only by Greece (45 pc) and the Czech Republic (41 pc), reports.
