Road traffic in the area surrounding the Triumphal Arch will be restricted on Saturday, November 27, due to rehearsals for the military parade which traditionally marks Romania’s National Day, Bucharest Police informs. Traffic restrictions in the area will be as follows: between 5 am and 2 pm, traffic will be restricted on the central axis of P. Kiseleff Road and the first lane, on the section between the Free Press Square and the Triumphal Arch Square; between 9 am and 2 pm, traffic will be blocked on the Kiseleff road and on adjacent streets, between the Free Press Square and the Victoriei Square, on Alexandru Constantinescu Street, between the Triumphal Arch Square and Marasti Blvd., on Alexandru Averescu Blvd., between the Triumphal Arch Square and the Marasti Blvd., and on Constantin Prezan Blvd., between the Triumphal Arch Square and the Charles de Gaulle Square. The Bucharest Police advises drivers to choose alternative routes, using the Bucharest-Ploiesti road – the Free Press Square – Ion Mihalache Blvd.; the Bucharest-Ploiesti road – the Grant Bridge; the Victoria Square – the Airport Blvd. – DN1.
