CC probes heat metering market

The Competition Council (CC) has started an investigation into the Romanian market of heat sub-metering and cost allocation services, suspecting a possible market sharing agreement among the three existing operators Elsaco, Ista Romania and Techem Energy Service. The investigation also targets a possible violation of the Competition Law by the National Authority Regulating Municipal Public Utility Services (ANRSC), a Competition Council release informed on Monday.
