Over EUR 4 M invested in 171 Orange shops

Orange Romania completed the franchise program via which it has opened, since April 2009, 171 shops in 82 towns and cities, following an over EUR 4 M-investment, the mobile phone operator announced. “The program was meant to help entrepreneurs get the best results on a mature and competitive market, on which the mobile phone services’ penetration rate is over 130 pc, and to enhance the quality of services offered to clients. Thus, Orange is consolidating its position as the telecom operator with the most extended distribution network in Romania,” is stated in a release by the company remitted, yesterday, to the press. Alongside the 171 franchise units, Orange Romania has 99 original shops and 117 points of sale based on its partnership with the Euro GSM retail chain and 77 in partnership with the Say network.
