Scala string quartet in concert

The Palace Hall hosts, tonight, starting 7.30 pm, an extraordinary recital by the Quartetto d’Archi della Scala di Milano, for the first time in Romania. Classical music aficionados will have a chance to listen to famous chamber pieces, as well as adaptations of vocal and symphonic masterpieces. The recital will be opened by the Passione Ensemble, under the baton of conductor George Natsis, with pianist Alfredo Tisocco as guest soloist. The Quartetto d’Archi della Scala di Milano concert is part of the fourth edition of the Music Contaminations International Festival, a manifestation meant to encourage Romanian-Italian cultural exchanges and held under the sign of environmental concerns. Tickets can be purchased through the Eventim and MyTicket networks and at the Palace Hall box-office, ranging in three categories, priced RON 40, 90 and 190.
