The Belgium Government has approved on Friday an action plan for the social and professional inclusion of Romanian and Bulgarian Gypsies living in Belgium, the local press informs, being quoted by RIA Novosti. “The signal we want to issue is that the Romanian and Bulgarian Roma coming here should be prepared to work,” Geert Bourgeois, Flemish Minister for Civic Integration, stated. In line with this plan, Romanian and Bulgarian citizens will have access to sectors that face a workforce deficit, something that was not possible until now despite the fact that the two countries were EU members.
