Udrea filed, three weeks ago, at the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM), no less than four applications to patent the same number of electoral slogans. Based on their wording, one may infer the recently elected president of the Democrat Liberal Party (PDL) Bucharest organization aims at Bucharest City Hall, as well as to run in the national race – either for the top position in PDL, or for a potential MP seat. One of slogans patented at OSIM is “I Bucharest”, with a heart in-between the two words, while, in terms of colouring, the specified shades are orange (the party’s colour) and grey. Udrea also applied for copyright for the slogan “I love Bucharest”. A third slogan is “I love B”. For the national race (either for PDL leadership, parliamentary and/or presidential elections), Elena Udrea patented, on the same date, at OSIM, the slogan “I love Romania”.
