Romania’s former Olympic champion Andreea Raducan has launched her autobiography (“Reversul Medaliei”). She argues that in it she tried to offer as much information as possible on the doping scandal that had resulted in the cancellation of the Gold medal she had won at the Sydney Olympic Games 2000. “All the talks I had with various persons I came into contact with focused on Sydney, doping and all that. And since I was and I am innocent I do not mind talking about the Sydney episode,” Andreea Raducan stated during a press conference. She dedicated the book to her father Gheorghe Raducan, who passed away four years ago.
