The Hungarian National Development Agency and the Romanian Regional Development and Tourism Ministry (MDRT) are launching the fourth call for projects (HURO/1001) as part of the Hungarian-Romanian Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013. The European funds earmarked for this call total EUR 20.724 M, a MDRT communiqué informs. The programme offers a wide range of opportunities to potential beneficiaries. Thus, besides elaborating studies and plans that seek to improve cross-border transport and communications infrastructure there is also the possibility of taking part in joint projects in domains such as environment protection or business cooperation. The Programme’s Joint Technical Secretariat (STC) organizes a series of information sessions throughout January 2011 in order to offer potential applicants support in the process of filling-up financing bids.
