An injury will keep Steaua Bucharest skipper Cristian Tanase off the pitch during his team’s Europa League game against Napoli on December 15. Steaua announced on Wednesday that during a medical check-up it was discovered that the player has a muscle injury. Tanase suffered an injury during the first half of the League I game that Steaua won against U Cluj on Monday, score 3-0. Romeo Surdu replaced him in the 34th minute. Steaua needs a tie against Napoli in the last leg of Group K games in order to qualify for Europa League’s last-32 stage.
