On Thursday the Romanian Gymnastics Federation announced Romania’s top 10 gymnasts of the year. Ana Porgras tops the women’s list, followed by Diana Chelaru, Amelia Racea and Sandra Izbasa. The men’s list is headed by Flavius Koczi, followed by Andrei Muntean, Marius Berbecar, Ovidiu Buidoso and Adrian Bucur. Mircea Zamfir was designated the best aerobic gymnast of the year, being followed by Valentin Mavrodineanu, Petru Porime-Tolan, Bogdan Popa, Cosmin Muj, Florin Nebunu, Cristian Nedelcu, Corina Constantin, Laura Cristache and Maria Pavel.
