Ambassadors from 29 countries attend manifestations in Bukovina

Ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions to Bucharest attended, on Saturday, in Gura Humorului, a series of manifestations organised within the programme “Christmas in Bukovina”, being invited by the Ministry of Tourism and the Suceava County Council to spend two days in Bukovina.
The ambassadors took, on Saturday afternoon, a horse drawn-sleigh ride in the Arinis Park in Gura Humorului, after visiting, during the first half of the day, the famous monasteries in Suceava. The diplomats were greatly taken with the churches, the people and the landscape, Realitatea TV reports.

“Bukovina is known all over the world for its richness and history. I am most interested in monasteries and churches and, also, in the history of Bukovina,” the ambassador of Vietnam, Nguyen Quang Chien, stated.
The ambassador of Sudan, Ajing Marik, described Bukovina as a wonderful place, which is worth visiting. “It is a wonderful place, with beautiful people. It is also a tourist area and I am glad to be here. And I think my message after leaving it will be: it is a place worth visiting,” the diplomat said.

In his turn, the ambassador of Macedonia, Ljupco Arsoveski, was greatly impressed by the monasteries in Bukovina: “The churches are very beautiful. I have never seen the like,” the Macedonian diplomat stated.
