CNADNR is awaiting offers for the Nadlac-Arad motorway

The Romanian National Company of Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) is awaiting, until February 14, 2011, offers for the construction of the 38.8 km long Nadlac-Arad motorway segment, in a project worth an estimated RON 993.6 M (EUR 230 M) VAT exclusive, Mediafax reports. The contract will run for four years and a half since the awarding moment. The project will be financed by the European Union, through its Cohesion Funds (85 pc) and the Romanian government (15 pc). Daniela Draghia, the CNADNR deputy CEO in charge with projects on foreign funding, announced late November that four auctions will be initiated, in view of awarding the construction contracts for the motorway segments Nadlac-Arad, Timisoara-Lugoj, Lugoj-Deva and Orastie-Sibiu.
