The prosecutors of the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) deferred to justice the chief prosecutor of the Sibiu Court Prosecutor’s Office, Florin Nicusor Apostu, and Tiberiu Narcis Popescu, an active officer in the Sibiu County Intelligence Direction, both under preventive arrest and charged with giving and taking bribe, influence peddling, forging official documents, the use of forged documents and assisting a criminal. In the same case, prosecutors indicted the Sibiu businessman Ilie Carabulea, charged with bribery and purchasing influence.
