Basescu expects Spanish companies to bid for infrastructure projects

President Traian Basescu yesterday told the president of the Valencia Community, Francisco Camps, that he further expects Spanish companies to bid for infrastructure projects, with at least four large-scale contracts for the construction of motorways due to be awarded by the end of the year, Agerpres reports. In his turn, Francesco Camps informed Traian Basescu that the Valencia Community opened a trade office in Romania.
In a different move, the National Company of Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) announces that the contracts for the Nadlac-Arad and Lugoj-Deva motorway segments provide a design and construction period of 30 months, with six months allotted to design and the remaining 24 months to construction works, plus 24 months of warranty.
