Romanian researcher receives early career award for scientists from President Obama

Emilia Morosan , an assistant professor of physics and astronomy and of chemistry at Rice University Houston Texas, was to be handed the early career award for scientists by US President Barrack Obama. The award is one of the highest distinctions awarded by the US government to researches in the early stages of their scientific careers. Emilia Morosan was nominated for the award by the Air Force Office of Strategic Research for the outstanding results of her studies in astronomy, physics and chemistry.
