According to FC Timisoara’s official website, quoted by Agerpres, 43-year-old Czech national Dusan Uhrin has taken over the team’s reins. Uhrin has signed an 18-month contract with the club, thus returning to Timisoara after a two-year absence. According to the local press, his salary stands at EUR 18,000. After signing the contract Dusan Uhrin stated: “I hope we will have a full house once again. But, before everything else I want to tell our fans we will play offensively. I hope we will finish the season on the best place possible. I want to have the same good relation with them as I had last time, they were brilliant fans. I am glad we once again have the jersey colours the team had when I started coaching it back in 2007. These are Poli’s real colours!”
