According to the data Eurostat published yesterday, 19 EU member states reported industrial production growth in October 2010 compared to the same month last year, Romania nevertheless reporting the smallest growth among them (2.6 per cent). Year-on-year industrial production grew by 6.9 per cent in the Euro Area and by 6.7 per cent in the European Union. Only four EU member states reported a slump in industrial production (Malta, Greece, Portugal and Spain).
