Craiova airport modernization works completed

The nearly EUR 3 M revamp for the Craiova Airport, a project that got off the ground nearly a year ago aimed at two new terminals, one each for departures and arrivals, being built along with a pedestrian overpass and an outdoor parking space, was completed yesterday, Mediafax reports. Senate Speaker Mircea Geoana, who also attended the event, said he would use his “clout” over the Transport Ministry so that Craiova Airport would be included among the airdromes eligible for modernization funding from the Romanian government.
