Swimming: Romanian juniors win 10 medals in Belgrade

Romanian swimmers have won 10 medals (one Gold medal, two Silver medals and seven Bronze medals) at the Central European Junior Meeting hosted by Belgrade. Romania was 4th in the standings, behind Hungary (17 Gold medals, 14 Silver medals, 9 Bronze medals), Poland (12-7-6) and Serbia (2-0-1). Ioan Barbu won Gold in the 200-meter breaststroke event and a Bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke event. Florin Raiu won Silver in the 400-meter medley event, Madalina Ciorobea won Silver in the 200-meter breaststroke, Octavian Ciocan won two Bronze medals in the 50-meter and 100-meter freestyle events, Adriana Morar won a Bronze medal in the 200-meter butterfly event, and the other three
