Romania reached a new historical low after dropping 4 places to rank 56th in the latest FIFA table. Romania was 38th at the start of this year but has entered a free fall in July: 42nd in July, 46th in August, 50th in September, 52nd in October, 56th in November. Montenegro, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Hungary, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Guinea, Botswana and Lithuania are some of the teams that outrank Romania.
