Democrat-Liberal MP Sever Voinescu announced on Thursday the setting up of the Pro-America Group made up of Romanian MPs from all parties, a group that seeks to support and develop Romania’s relations with the United States, Mediafax informs. He pointed out that the American Congress has a similar group that supports America’s relations with Romania. Voinescu talked about the importance of bilateral relations and about Romania’s interest in developing them and underlined that currently there is no organized group of Romanian MPs meant to support the relations with the US at Parliamentary level.
