150 inmates escape from Mexico prison

At least 151 inmates have escaped from a prison in northeastern Mexico, just across the border from the American state of Texas, officials said, according to sify.com. The incident occurred Friday in Nuevo Laredo city, the public safety secretariat in Tamaulipas state said Saturday. Army soldiers and Federal Police officers were on alert following the escape but no captures have been reported so far.
