The two big companies to result from the re-organisation of the Romanian energy sector – the Electra and Hidroenergetica giants – are set to be founded towards the end of the first quarter of next year (March), said Electra project manager Constantin Balasoiu, quoted by Money.ro. He further noted that his company – Complexul Energetic Craiova – had suspended the project for the construction of a new 500 MW group until the setting up of the two energy companies. The initial term announced by the authorities for setting up the two big energy companies was July 1.
