The monthly electricity bill may rise by an average of RON 2 in 2011 following the introduction of a contribution in support of power production by co-generation units of high efficiency. ‘Any consumer will pay RON 20/MWh (RON 0.02/kWh – our note) for electricity produced by co-generation’, the President of the National Regulatory Agency in the Field of Energy (ANRE), Iuliu Plaveti, told Mediafax.
